How much does it cost?
- 95€ + IVA – single return
- 145€ + IVA two returns for jointly owned property
- from 49€ + IVA to account for rental income
Will I have to take a medical?
We will advise you at the start when we initially review your file.
How long does it take?
We will process your completed application within 3 working days of receiving it. We submit checked and reviewed applications to the DGT on a weekly basis. The DGT are currently taking up to 3 months to process applications.
Can I exchange an expired UK / EU licence?
Yes you can. This will be handled as a renewal. You’ll need to take a medical, and you’ll be issued with a 10 year Spanish licence.
Can I keep my UK licence?
Your UK licence has to be sent in with your application. We provide you with confirmation that your application has been submitted, and the DGT issue a temporary licence, once they’ve verified and accepted your application.
Can this be done by post?
Yes. If you cannot come to one of our offices, we’ll send your pack to you by post or courier. It will cost you approx 5€ to return you completed pack by registered post or around 15€ for courier option
