These Terms set out the basis on which we OLS will provide services to you.
OLS means the company Overseas Lifestyle Services Ltd in the UK and in Spain, OLS LFT Spain SL. OLS also uses the trading names, Lifestyle, Lifestyle Services, Lifestyle Group and OLS Legal Financial Tax. The registered companies addresses and communication details are:

OLS acts as a general service provider and also an introducer to other third party service providers and professional partners. This may include, but is not limited to Lawyers, Accountants, Insurance Intermediaries, Gestors and Financial Advisers. OLS may provide information about financial and tax matters, and or discuss them with you, however, does not directly provide financial or tax advice.
Timescales provided for completion of services are not guaranteed as we do not have control over all parts of the process of completing a service, for example government administration agencies or where third parties are involved. We will provide our services with reasonable care, skill and diligence, and wherever possible, timescales given will be based on previous experience.
In addition to individual general services and packages of services that it provides, OLS offers to:
- Gather information about your circumstances and provide information in relation to the nature of services offered by partners and other third party service providers that may be suitable to your needs.
- Collaborate with a partner or other service provider to facilitate the provision of a service in association with that partner or other third party service provider.
- Receive and refer you/orders on your behalf, for a service or services, to one or more service providers from our approved shortlist.
How We Get Paid
We charge a fee for our services, and adhere strictly to a policy of transparency and full disclosure.
We may be offered commission, a share of fees, or other payments from partners or other third party service providers to whom we refer you. We may accept and retain these payments, or at our discretion, pass these on, either in part or full to you, by way of cashback or discount to our fees. We will disclose any such payments that we are offered or receive.
The third party supplier of the service will be responsible for providing details relating to their prices and their terms and conditions to you. Using reasonable endeavour, we will explain service terms to you and ensure that you understand the conditions. Any decision by you, to accept a recommendation or to use a service or purchase a product for example insurance, is your own.
We may also charge a fee for our services when acting as solely as an intermediary, and will advise you in advance of all costs, and require a signed letter of acceptance and authority from you.
Our Fees
Most of our services are offered on a fixed price per service basis. We work out the cost of each service based on the amount of work involved in completing the service, and the level of experience or expertise required. Our minimum service fee is £49 / €49 and for reference our hourly fee rates are as follows:
- General – £35 / €35 per hour (first hour £49 / €55)
- Specialist – £69 / €69 per hour (first hour £95 / €110)
- Professional – from £150 / €175 per hour
Fees billed for services provided through Overseas Lifestyle Services Ltd (UK) are subject to VAT at 20%. All fees billed for services provided through OLS LFT Spain SL are subject to IVA at 21%. Any associated costs that we handle are accounted for separately and detailed in full at the outset.
Handling Fees:
In addition to any fees agreed for our services, we may charge a handling fee of 3.75% when completing payment transactions on your behalf. There is a minimum charge of €15. If we are handing a number of transactions on your behalf, the fee payable will be the greater of 3.75% of the total value of the transactions, or €15.
Deposits & Reservation Fees
Consultation fees when expressly indicated, service reservation fees or deposits paid up front are offset against the final invoice total.
Promotions, Gift Vouchers & Credit Notes
Vouchers and credit notes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and can be redeemed towards any OLS general service. Gift vouchers and credit notes are non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash in part or full and are valid for a single transaction only.
Vouchers may not be used in conjunction with any special promotion and change will not be given if the cost of the service redeemed against is lees than the value of the gift voucher or credit note. Vouchers cannot be clubbed together for use in a single transaction.
Vouchers and credit notes may be transferred to immediate members of family only. Strictly no extension of the expiry date from the date of issue will be allowed, and we reserve the right to reject any voucher or credit note that has been tampered with or found in any way unacceptable.
OLS are not responsible if a Gift Voucher is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed and no replacement will be provided in these circumstances.
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation of a service, we will charge an administration fee to cover work already completed, i.e. time spent and costs that have been incurred e.g. unrecoverable payments that have been made third party service providers / suppliers, fees, taxes etc, that have been paid on your behalf in relation to the provision of the contracted service.
We reserve the right to issue any refund due, after any admin fee or other costs have been taken in account, as credit note which can be used to pay for other services.
Additional Terms
Some services have additional terms specific to those services. When you take out services which have additional terms, the additional terms apply in conjunction with these general Terms of Service. We will advise at the time of arranging the service if additional terms apply.

Specialist, Regulated & Professional Services
We do not sell or provide regulated products or services. We will research services, specialist and professional service providers or financial products, on your behalf. This may include legal and financial services, insurance/ pension/ investment products and mortgages. We may then act as an intermediary and introduce you to the provider of the regulated product or service that you require and work with them to facilitate you obtaining the product or service.
The service or professional service / product options made available to you, will be based on our assessment of your circumstances and our knowledge individual product / service provider requirements.
Regulated services offered in association with, or by referral to, appropriately licensed and authorised independent third parties, include but are not limited to Gestors, Accountants, Lawyers, Financial Advisers, Pension and Tax Specialists, and any such services and or related advice will be given by those third parties and not by us.
Complaints Procedure
Any complaint that you may have in relation to the Company or services provided, should be made in writing to OLS, outlining the nature of the complaint. Your Agreement
You undertake to make available all appropriate documentation as required by OLS or the service provider, and acknowledge that failing to provide all such may affect, or even result in failure of the provision of the service or set up of the product. You accept that in such an event or any other event out of our control, we cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience, losses or costs incurred as a result of any delay or failure to provide or complete a service.
You confirm that you are fully aware and accept that OLS as an introducing agent, may be paid a commission or share of fees, by product or service providers that we introduce or refer you to.
You further confirm that you have agreed when its relevant, to be introduced to such third parties as mentioned, for services, or to review your circumstances and requirements, and or for advice, and that all costs and fees or additional terms specific to the service / product have been fully explained to you and where applicable documented in the service proposal.
When you accept a service proposal, you confirm that you have been provided with, read and understood these Terms of Service of OLS along with any service specific Additional Terms and that you accept and agree to them.
